Founder's Message

Dear Parents
Welcome to Karachi British School!
Our journey of KBS has just begun and I am very excited to welcome you on this journey too. I passionately believe in providing high quality child care, extensive learning experiences for children, enabling them to holistically gain the skills they need to build solid foundations, in order to develop into confident, creative and critical thinkers. We at KBS aim to help each child attain his or her full potential and achieve that important head start in life. We work in close collaboration and partnership with parents as it’s the demand of our curriculum.

Karachi British School – Pre Primary (KBS-PP) follows the ‘Early Years Foundation Stage’ (EYFS) British curriculum which focuses the areas such as Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Cognitive development, Communication, language and literacy development, Physical Development, Mathematical development, Creative Development and the world around us.

Our Pre-Primary section aims to provide a warm and welcoming environment where all children receive attention and support to develop independence and appropriate early learning skills. Our premises have been thoughtfully planned to ensure that the classrooms are not only hygienically clean, safe and secure but also provide a child-centered and nurturing learning environment with state-of-the-art facilities.

In addition to our formal education at Pre-Primary section, we offer fun and leisure activities at our Recreational Centre (RC). At RC, we offer various fun activities such as Arts and Craft, Music and Movement, Martial Arts, Scientific Experiments and Exploration and Yoga, Sports and Games. All these activities have been planned according to children’s age and ability appropriateness. Our aim is not only to provide fun and recreational opportunities but also to focus on their physical, intellectual, social and emotional well-being.

Through these activities, children develop their fine and gross motors skills, balance and coordination, creativity and critical thinking and physical strength and relaxation. These activities are offered for the children ages from 3-6 years. Children from 18 months to 3 years can also avail the facilities at RC to explore their senses, improve strength, endurance and physical abilities and gain confidence, through various sensorial activities, messy play, balance, coordination and gym play.

In order to enhance quality of teaching and learning environment at early years’ settings, KBS-Professional Development Centre offers teacher training qualifications on ‘Cache Level 1, 2 and 3’ accredited by Cache UK.

The Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care prepares learners to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years. Upon achievement of this qualification it is intended that learners will be able to access higher education or enter the workforce as Early Years Educators. This qualification confers the license to practice as an Early Years Educator.
